LIUNA members  working together, took up the fight for infrastructure, barraging members of Congress with tens of thousands of emails and calls, as well as, attending more than one hundred townhall events, parades, rallies, and press events. From billboards and digital ad trucks, LIUNA’s message, “Pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill Now,” was heard loud and clear.

Administration’s Building Standards Initiative Will Create Good Jobs Modernizing Buildings

The launch by the Biden Administration of a coalition of state and local governments to upgrade and modernize building standards is a win for workers, businesses, communities and the environment. Covering nearly 20 percent of buildings in our country, this is a bold initiative that will begin addressing the challenge of improving building energy efficiency, affordability and safety, while contributing to economic growth and the creation of good jobs.

Investment in Bridges Will Create Good Jobs and a Lasting Legacy in Communities

LIUNA members welcome today’s announcement on the launch of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bridge Replacement, Rehabilitation, Preservation, Protection, and Construction Program. The rollout of investment from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will provide $26.5 billion to restore our nation’s bridges, provide a lasting legacy for our communities, and create good union construction jobs. 

LIUNA Proud to Join White House Efforts on Clean Water
