- One Nation Rally on the national Mall, Washington D.C.
- To help renew the American Dream for everyone, some 170 progressive groups, including the AFL-CIO, and many affiliated unions, have come together in ONE NATION.
- One Nation is a multi-racial, civil and human rights movement whose mission is to reorder our nation’s priorities to invest in our nation’s most valuable resource—our people. One Nation is holding an Oct. 2 rally at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. with tens of thousands of activists taking part. On the same day, the union movement will walk door-to-door in targeted states around the country, mobilizing union members exactly one month before the fall elections.

- The LiUNA African American Caucus is planning its 3rd Annual National Educational conference to be held October 8-10, 2010 at Bally's Hotel in Las vegas, Nevada. During our conference, our workshops will include, but are not limited to:
- Political Empowerment-ACC 2010

- Organizing or Die
- Your Financial Future
- Pension Education & Preparation
- LiUNA Educational Programs
- Registration:
- The conference is $150.00 per attendee
- Early Bird registration fee is $125.00, and must be received by September 10, 2010
- Guests are not required to pay registration fee if not attending workshops

- The 2011 AFL-CIO Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Observance will be held January 13-17 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Registration:
- The reduced conference registration fee of $150.00 includes conference attendance, the awards dinner, labor breakfast, and all conference materials
- Note, the registration deadline is December 17, 2010. After this date, a late registration fee of $30 will be assessed and no refunds will be made.
