Rover Pipeline Approval Unlocks Thousands of Jobs

President Trump’s Workers First Agenda More than Words, Compact with American People

Washington, D.C. (February 3, 2017) – Terry O’Sullivan, General President of LIUNA – the Laborers’ International Union of North America – made the following statement today regarding the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approval of the Rover Pipeline:

FERC’s approval of the Rover Pipeline will create 15,000 good middle-class jobs building clean domestic energy infrastructure and bring new economic opportunities for communities and businesses from West Virginia to Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

LIUNA members and their fellow building tradesmen and women, who are the most skilled and qualified pipeline workforce in the nation, are ready to build this critical piece of energy infrastructure.

Approval of the Rover Pipeline demonstrates again that President Donald Trump’s commitment to putting American workers first is more than just words, it’s a compact with the American people.
