The City of Baltimore gives millions of dollars in tax breaks or tax increment financing for development in the City of Baltimore. If community partnership agreements were put in place on all city financing over $5 million here are a few of the projects that would have been helping to “Get Baltimore Working”:

• Baltimore City Council and Mayor approve 160 million tax break for Westport Waterfront Development

• Baltimore City Council and Mayor approve 37 million tax break for East Harbor Development 

• Baltimore City Council and Mayor approve 85 million tax break for East Baltimore Research Park – John’s Hopkins University

• Baltimore City Council and Mayor approve 15 million for Mondawmin Mall Re-Development

• Baltimore City Council and Mayor approve 305 million for the Convention Center Hotel
