Monthly Membership Meetings -  Members can be kept informed of current and upcoming projects, union news and by attending monthly General Meetings in their area.  Meetings are held throughout the year in Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, please call the union hall or read your union newsletter for dates and times. 

Monthly Dues - When members are working, dues are deducted from the member's pay and will be submitted to the Union by the Contractor.  If the member is no longer working, IT IS THE MEMBER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP THEIR DUES UP TO DATE.  Members who have not paid their dues for more than two months will receive a notice in the mail and will be up for suspension.

Personal Information - It is the member’s responsibility to notify the union office of any address, phone number, social insurance or name changes. Members can contact the union office to update their information.

Out of Work Board - Once laid off, members should call into the union office and request that their name be added to the board.  To maintain your position you must call in once a month to either the job line or the union office.  If you miss a monthly call in your name will be removed from the out of work board and will be placed at the back of the board upon your next call in.  The Out of Work Board phone number is 403-208-6466

Job Line – Job requests received from Contractors will be posted on the job line by 4 PM daily.  Out of work members are urged to call the job line to review possible postings daily and are free to bid on any positions up to 10 AM the following day.  To bid please leave your name, SIN, contact information and a short message.  Names will be removed from the job line at 10 AM and reviewed.  Members who have the required qualifications and are the lowest number on the board will be called and dispatched.  Members already working for any of our Contractors cannot leave/quit one job to go to another.  This will result in a 30 day dispatch suspension.  The Job Line phone number is 403-208-6466
