ORGANIZING NEWS:

 

2008 saw some changes in our Organizing program with Mike Warner being named Marketing Director for Minnesota and North Dakota.  Also, Rick Cannata was named Marketing Representative for the Northern Minnesota area. PLA’s (Project Labor Agreements) continue to be our best tool in the toolbox.


We are continuing to reach out to non-union contractors along with project owners to increase our market share. We are currently using a top down approach to our organizing, building relationships rather than walls. Pickets will continue to be used when there is a need for them and when the laws will allow for them. We also rely on your eyes and ears for things that are going on in our area.
