TRAINING NEWS

LABORERS’ TRAINING CENTER — CHANGES FOR 2009

All Day & Saturday classes at the Laborers’ Training Center (including Virginia), will now have the same starting time beginning January 2009. Classes will all begin at 7:00 am to eliminate any confusion as to when any class starts. The Night classes will remain at the present schedule of 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday)

 

The Training Center will also be moving to a 4/10 schedule for all of its programs. This will make the commute to training programs for people who do not quality for the daily stipend less costly, with 1 less round trip to make each week. These classes will start at 7:00 am and end at 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Because of State rules some 40-hour classmust be done in 8-hour increments, so those classes will continue to be on a 5 day schedule. Be sure to "Register for" or "cancel out" of any classes as soon as possible.
