2012 will prove once again to be the most important elections of our time pertaining to Laborers' Local #1091 and LIUNA in general National, State, and Local elections that will impact our physical presence in the construction industry.  With the "Right to Work" legislation and changes to prevailing wage law on the forefront of all dicussions, now more than ever is the time to get involved in your union and your community.  We need to elect or re-elect candidates that will stand up for our well being as union members.  The middle class worker is the backbone of our union and our great nation.

Our health care and pension plans along with collective bargaining has come under fire and we need to stop it with elected officials that will stand by us in what we have fought for for over 100 years.  Stay in touch, get involved, ask questions of how to protect what is rightfully ours.

We will continue to send our "ME" (Membership Education) cards periodically to all our members with upcoming events.
