MARKET EXPANSION

The Great Lakes Region Organizing Committee (GROC) is the Regional Organizing Department for the Laborers International Union of North America (Laborers Union).

GROC has an 8 person staff throughout Minnesota that assist the local unions of the Laborers District Council of Minnesota & North Dakota in increasing market share, organizing non-union contractors.  

GROC Marketing Representatives visit offices of non-union contractors, sit down with the Owners, Presidents, or CEO's and educate them of the benefits of becoming a signatory union contractor.  GROC Marketing Representatives visit non-union contractors from all sectors of the construction industry that do Laborers work, with an emphasis on sectors that typically yield high Laborer work hours, e.g. concrete & masonry, sewer & water are a couple of areas of concentration.  

GROC is currently assisting your Local with a number of ongoing issues, and will continue to do so as needed.
